Winner of the International Library of Poetry’s Editor’s Choice for competition entry Voteless on Election Day and published in A Quiet Storm, prolific writer and poet Axon was born in 1973 and grew up in and around Leicester.

Axon has also been shortlisted for the 2005 Leicester and Leicestershire Short Story Contest for her story Kamikaze Black Moor, and been named Poet Of The Month Fall 2006 in the progressive women's magazine "the rag".

With several hundred poems published/and or self published worldwide, Axon has now expanded her writing into micro-fiction, short stories and articles.

As a long term vegan her work often reflects her travels through life.

Axon is permitted to live at home with her kleptomaniac, agoraphobic cat Cleo for the express purpose of tummy tickling and food providing, and also lives with her foster daughter, six chickens, a canry and two fish (no, not in their tank!)
